Kitesurfing caught my eye back in 2010 when I started taking lessons. I then got myself a full kite kit and started practicing on my own, but due to a lack of skill (even after taking lessons) my confidence took a knock and I never touched a kite again until I finally decided to give it another try in 2012. I have never looked back since!
I obtained my kitesurfing instructor qualification in 2013 and then started instructing part time until I finally decided to make kitesurfing my life in the beginning of 2015.
Since then I have traveled to places like Kenya, Zanzibar and Sri Lanka in between the Cape Town seasons, obtaining new skills, experiences and of course the best part of kitesurfing, meeting new and amazing people!
Through my own experiences in learning this amazing sport and those of the people I have taught over the years, I have developed my teaching methods to focus on what I think are the most important aspects that a kitesurf lesson should consist of:
Quality, Progression, Confidence and of course, having Fun!
When there is wind blowing you will either find me on the water or teaching on the beach in Blouberg, Melkbos or Langebaan.
If you see me come and say hi!
